Focus and Scope

S is the peer-reviewed journal of the Circle for Lacanian Ideology Critique (CLiC). Previously housed at the Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht, NL, the journal is now one of the organs of the diasporic JVE A.

S publishes peer-reviewed essays on Lacanian and related topics from the fields of art, film and literary criticism, political, philosophical and ideological critique. We also focus on translations into English of important thinkers whose work deserves the worldwide dissemination afforded by open access publication.
